Share:Share on Facebook Share on Digg Share on Delicious X2 a far contender to the X1Pros: Slow, fake rotation, complicate softw, unresponsive screen, useless videocall after MR1
Cons: Larger and nice keypad and beatifull screen colors
Yes, I can talk about it because I have one X2. The X2 is dissapointing. Xperia X1 exceeds by far the X2 (just keypad and larger screen are X2 advantages). I would suggest SE not turning WM so complicate. The best phone is the one that it is easier to use and find what you need. Too much useless panels. 14 panels advertised and no more than nine. Flash light included and you can do phonecalls with the keypad closed and open. I offer SE to take my X2 hardware and installling the X1 software into it. That would be the perfect market premium product

Share:Share on Facebook Share on Digg Share on Delicious If X2a = X2i, we're in troublePros: screen size, beautiful resolution, perfect keyboard, 8.1MP camera, body design
Cons: performance, performance, performance
The X2i has been out for a few months now, and as user reviews and tests have shown, the only good thing about this device is the body (visit xda-devs X1 board for details). It's a wonderful showcase device, but beyond that and into everyday usage, it's a terrible performer. Lag and slowdowns abound, and the phone is plagued by numerous issues that should be eradicated far before we hit the $600 pricetag. Unless the X2a has been refit and smoothed out, there's no reason anyone should pay more than $300 for this device. If it has... then this will probably be the best six hundred anyone has ever spent.

Share:Share on Facebook Share on Digg Share on Delicious X2A Great PhonePros: Style, keyboard, Windows Mobile. display
Cons: Lacks voice dialing
I am very satisfied with the phone. There have been lots of bad press about the phone ? but I have not had any of the problems that others have had. I have not had restarts or any other problems with the phone or the MR1 update. The phone came with MR1 installed. Battery life is really good for a smart phone ? several days at least. Sound quality is also very good. I am using a BT jawbone ? no problems pairing. It syncs easily with outlook (even 2010 outlook). I currently have a Petronus screen protector on the phone ? and there is no degradation on the screen response. This is my first Windows Mobile phone, and with the similarity of the PC OS, it was an easy transition ? and one of the reasons I selected the X2A. No regrets. Still getting to know the capabilities of the phone ? and so far it exceeds all of my expectations. Still a loyal Sony customer ?

Share:Share on Facebook Share on Digg Share on Delicious My X2a is on its way back to Sony StylePros: Great Design - As expected from Sony
Cons: Performance, freezing issues, rotation does not work, a2dp does not work
Oh Sony Ericsson !!! I have always expected great things from you guys, being a customer from P800 onwards. However the X2a is completely unacceptable. I had read all those reviews on the web and yet went in and bought one trusting that SE could not be that bad. Guess the reviews were right and I was not. I had this phone for 2 days and I had to soft reset the phone at least 10 times. totally unacceptable for a $600 phone. I am afraid you have lost another loyal SE customer !!!

Share:Share on Facebook Share on Digg Share on Delicious Suggestion on FeaturePros: camera zoom, windows os, battery, TVout
Cons: unsure of camera flash and if you always need to use slide out keypad to make a call
Will you be able to make a call without always sliding the keyboard out? As in, having a number pad display on the touch screen? This would be a great feature! Flash for camera?
